eMobility Forum Moderator

Greetings fellow electronauts(and potential future eDrive enthusiasts!) I was asked to drop a line here noting that the powers that be elected this forum needed a moderator. A few months ago a topic was made, and the applicants were considered. In the end, I was chosen to moderate this subforum.

Short and sweet, I am currently a level 1 BMW technician specializing in eMobility vehicles and electrical diagnosis. Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, enjoying the awesome weather and getting ready for the not cold enough winter! I am from the Mid-West, so I enjoy my snow and sub-zero temperatures; which we see none of here.

I drive an early U.S. production i3 BEV, and love every commute I get to make in it. Fun cars, fun concept, and fun to work on; what more could an owner/technician ask for???

Anyway, nothing else really changes around here. Forum rules and policies are all the same as everywhere else(Guidelines), with one exception:

If you ever encounter bright orange wires while working on, tinkering with, or even during presumed regular operation of your electric vehicle; don't mess with it!

Otherwise, if you need help figuring out how to use the forums, check out the guide:

Lastly, I am here to help! Don't be shy
