I believe runflats are not to be repaired. If I get road hazard program from Tirerack when purchasing runflats, will Tirerack replace the punctured runflat tire?
Will we be pushed to repair somehow or automatically get the tire replaced since the repair is not recommended... I am confused.... :dunno:

runflats are repairable with the same stipulations as any other tire (must be in tread area, no belt damage, etc), as long as they haven't been driven on with no pressure for longer than the 50 miles at 55MPH.

However, keep in mind that the Road Hazard program does not replace tires, it simply provides reimbursement for the price you paid for the tire (they cut you a check) if the tire is deemed not repairable by one of teh Road Hazard companies approved facilities.

For details, contact your Road Hazard administrator at the # found in your Road Hazard program booklet, or my customer service dept at 1-800-428-8355, ext 360.
