Dear Family,
i am thinking of doing so major performance work to my dinnan 540i and was wondering if the m5 and 540i share the same base engine block with different heads? if so i will put the m5 heads on my 540i block and post some real insane pictures. PLEASE ALL SUGGESTIONS, COMMENTS AND 2 cents welcome :bigpimp:

I believe the engines are very different. Do a search at www.m5board.com and you will probably find a definative answer.
