looks great and performs great. I installed it on my anthracite '00 M5 and before on the dyno I got 322HP to rear wheels and next day installed and dyno'd at 340HP. I did not believe it could add that much power, however i did have engine software on it before that was meant for a CAI car, but did not have one on there so it might have helped with the increase.
hope this helps

I think it's pretty much been proven that a CAI all by itself does not do all that much on our cars, except give them a nicer sound. The bigger gain comes from the software.

except give them a nicer sound.
and even that is debatable.

I'll just say this: You can make that thing for under $50, and it will only take 1-3 hours depending on your ability! I took a trip down to the local hardware store, bought some flexible cooling pipe, some rings for tightening objects (I forgot the name!), total came out to under $22. I then took off my front bumper, and fitted them onto the stock air intake hose, then ran it down to the front grill as pictured. I am waiting on the mesh to come so I can finish it up. As for the brakes, unless you're going to be racing your car, with a lot of hard, repetitive braking, it won't do very much to help you. Even if you do want that, you could also build that part cheaply!
