Alarm question

I have read all the previous threads on the pro's and con's of have the bmw OEM alarm installed.

I am thinking of having it installed when my M3 gets to the dealer for the sole reason of having the tilt sensor as a countermeasure for anyone trying to steal the car by flatbedding it.

What are your thoughts?

Its a couple hundred bucks, do you really need a bunch of opinions? Just do it if you want it.

Make sure you ask what they charge to install it first. The alarm itself is only ~$200 and really easy to install, but most dealers charge $400-$600 installed.
