Climate Control Unit

My climate control unit, is the one with the knobs, not the digital one.. :cry:

And it currently sits under my cd player..

I have a digital climate control unit from a e36 318i that took that option, same year model...

First is it possible "i mean possible"
to swap them??

secondly if its not..
is it possible to move down the climate control unit down to the double bay below where the cd deck is, so i can put in my lcd screen??
