Aux Radiator Fan on 96 318i

When I shut down my '96 318i, the electric fan (Aux Radiator Fan Motor) remains on and does not shut off (even after letting it sit over night). The temp gauge indicated normal operating temp and the coolant is full. Also, I would like to know where on mine the Fuse is located as the fuse Guide shows it to be under the steering wheel, but WHERE under there :eek: ?

I really need to get this fixed so that I can drive to work and not have a dead battery :(

Just wanted to let those that own 96 318i's that are 4 cyl that the Relay for the Aux Fan is Purple and Pulling that Fixed the problem...and its now operating normally!..

(P.S. Wil is the one who did the digging and troubleshooting and then did a fuse by fuse test till he found the fuse that BMW says is located "Under the Steering Wheel!" Never founf the fuse but we found the Relay and that was better!!
