Hello,
I have had a '93 BMW 320i for about 2 months now (153 K). I have been visiting this site and a few other trying to get tips on what mods are out there for my car.
I have a few questions.
I am kinda looking for a keyless entry / alarm deal for my car. I have been looking in canada, and well Good luck so far I couldn't find anything. I don't have anything buying US parts, so my question is, I found this alarm, http://www.autowerks.com/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=21734&cat=108 .. it's say it is an aftermarket alarm for BMW, without any rewiring. Has anyone on the fourm ever used this unit, or something compatible to the Stellar Unit ? Looking for a price range of about 200 CDN)
Also I was looking at performance chip .. Does anyone have real test results of these chips ... from Either Dinan, JC, Conforti Performance Chip .. or all these chips the same.. So far I have only seen that Dinan actually offers packages with thier product .. IE, Chip + CAI for 15 HP .. etc.. Since my car is a 320i, I find that it has low giddy up, until I hit 3k-4k rpm.. or is this standard?
Also, does anyone have a link or are selling Rims for this car, I was looking into a 17" rim, maybe an 18" .. I currently have 15" /w Toyo's and looking to upgrade because I have a bent Rim that is causing comfort issues, but would also stay under 1000.00 CDN .. So if you know any place in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).
Oh, Also does anyone know any salvage yards that would have any BMW's in their yard, just curious, because this would be a good way for me to fix some things that are in need of repair, .. again, this would be for GTA area..
