I'm not too sure you will like this. Per the text it uses a FM transmitter to get the audio into the car system. This is far from the ideal setup.
I did a IceLink type setup where the audio is directly pumped into the CD changer wiring. Sounds as good as the CD player. Mind you i drive a ragtop which is a tad noisy anyway.
Good luck which ever way you go.

It will use either an aux-in, or an FM transmitter. Now WHY anyone would want to add sixteen other objects to their cabin is beyond me, but...

A little off topic but can anyone tell me if the ice-link and others work with anything other than IPOD; say a Dell Jukebox or a Creative Zen mp3?

zeadzz,
the description does say it can connect "direct line-in".
Nick,
Just first thought... the control is pretty slick, just like the iDrive?! And looks quite handy to be at the "cup holder", infact that's where I wire the AUX input to (my temp solution for iPod). And the display screen... since I don't have the Nav TV and it's currently an empty compartment.. so I was think it might be a good place for the screen to be (I'm still not sure my BMW Business CD support the TEX by the Icelink.
Any comments?

I have an iRiver 20GB HDD connected to my IceLink like device and it works just fine. Picked it up at Circuit City for something like $58. Plugs into the CD Changer harness in the trunk just like IceLink.
Plays mp3, ogg vorbis and WMA files through the car audio system with the steering wheel volume controls still functioning.
Sorry that I missed the direct Line In option on the text for the new iPod option but it did not sound like a good thing using the FM transmitter.....old eyeballs :dunno:
