Does anyone have any pics of what they did with their 745Li/750Li/760Li as far a dvd screens are concerned. I didnt really care for the tiny one they offered from BMW. West Coast Customs has some great Photos of some 19" screens that fold down from the ceiling behind driver and front passenger seats.

Head rest option is cludgy because the head rests are automatic, though I would have preferred that.

Come on guys - Give me some ideas. My dealer tells me they have come up with a slick solution for putting them into the headrests of the new 750, which i have but I think he's full of it.

On my 745Li Indivisual they come from the factory like this (See pic)

Quite a nice setup in my opinion.

Thanks Star,

How do I locate information on "Indivisual", do they have a website? I've actually seen this before in european versions of the 7 but never in the states.

It looks good and clean, but the addition is a bit bulky, ive seen cleaner installations in the headrests without all the extra leather.

Nasty,
BMW 'Individual' is just a program that BMW offers in certain countries which allows you to choose from many more options than are available in the US. Any individual parts can be ordered from your local BMW dealer, provided you have the part numbers (available in the ETK parts catalog).

Thanks Kris

So I ask, Where can I see the ETK parts catalog? Is it something available online, or do I need to go to germany to find it.

First person I seen do something like this was member Sevenman, and it was sick.

Then another person sort of recently also did this.

If I were to do a system in my car, I would go this route also.

Would you like to give a small breakdown of how you hooked this up to your main screen.

Sorry for my delay but I haven't been on the forum in a while. I purchased an AV unit from this company in Atlanta called AV Electronics (www.avelectronics.com) and then had it installed at CarTunes in Atlanta as well, they do a lot of aftermarket stuff for celebs, look em up. I purchased the 10 dics sony DVD changer on eBay for a steal. You have to get your fm tuner moded which they do so the sound comes through your system rather than using an fm modulator. They provide wire diagrams plus step by step instructions. The system is total plug and play, could have done it myself. I hope this helps. If you like I can scan the diagrams that they provided.
