Bluetooth Phone Cradle

I ordered BT in my X3, does that include the connection to the phone? Can I just have my phone on the seat and use the bluetooth? And if I want to charge it use the 12v plug?

I wanted more information on the phone cradle, system plate all that stuff that charges and uses the antenna on the car

I'm so confused by the phone options that are available .. or not available as the dealer indicated this past week. I got the fancy phone buttons on the steering wheeler, but I guess they are meaningless? :dunno:
