Captured in parking garage at Bellevue Square Mall. The black is mine, 3.0 jet black. The silver one is a 3.0 with sport and color matched bumper.

Great catch! Can honestly say, I've never had the honour of parking next to another X3, besides at the dealer.

The silver must have PDC - seeing how close to the wall they parked.............

Color Match bumpers IMO looks very sharp on the X3. Nice pics.

I may be the only one, but I don't much care for the color match bumpers. In my opinion, they make the X3 look too much like a minivan. The back bumpers provide a nice contrast and give it more of that SUV look.

Why did you block out the license plate of a person you dont even know? :dunno:

I am with you regarding the colour bumpers. The body colour side skirts arguably may look better to some (depending on the body colour) but the bumpers don't work for my tastes.

Well I don't know if it's a good idea to expose someone's license plate on the internet without his/her permission.

Yeah i was just about to say that something just doesn't look right with body color matched bumpers. But hey, to each their own.

My $.02. I was in a parking lot in downtown San Francisco and wouldn't you know it, three X3's in the same row, and it didn't include mine. After downtown I went to a Safeway and another one, I parked next to that one.

I think the painted bumpers give it the look a $35k SUV should have.

I am with you. They do make it more van look in my opinion. To have a more SUV look, I added the aluminium running board.

My wife and I both own X3s so we get to park next to an X3 every night!

I ran over to the local grocer and parked next to an '05 3.0. Walked a few spaces and a shiny brand new '05 2.5, Sapphire Black, pulled in. I talked with the guy, it had all of 57 miles on it!!! . tromar1, he's digging the pedal install. Told him to look for your pics of the auto setup. Came out of the store and the gal with the silver 3.0 says she likes it, much more then her '02 Benz SUV.

How does it feel in your hand?

Funny thing...every time i see an X3 in the Phila/S. Jersey area i keep wondering if i've communicated with them via this board.

I need some feedback...anyone invited to give opinions...:

I want to get black rims with chrome lips. However, I was thinking of staggered 19" (my dealership said 19 was the largest I should put on). Now i'm thinking maybe 18" so that I don't lose too much tire height. I love the performance with my current stock wheels, but I think black would eliminate some of the brake dust.

Feedback anyone???? Edit...I'm apologize in advance as i'm not trying to hijack the post. Feel free to let me know if I should ask elsewhere.
