I ordered my X3 in May. I finally got the VIN today. The ship will arrive here in Canada, (Halifax, to be specific,) on Wednesday, July 5. In the tracking site, it says it is on vessel: TOLEDO. Once I go to http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shiplocations.phtml, it can't find TOLEDO on the search. Am I doing something wrong?
Once it gets to Canada, tow long does it take for CN rail to ship it to dealer? Does it always get shipped through CN? and finally, how can I track the train that it is on?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

My dealer gave me a tracking number for the x3 so i could follow its progress. Mine took about an weeks to get to Calgary from halifax with CN.
But ask your dealer for an tracking number.

Took mine about 1-1/2 to 2 weeks to get to the GTA, after arrival in Halifax. They go to the Concord yard - I think - then to the dealers.
It all depends when a full shipment is ready to depart from Halifax.
Some of the port VIN tracking sites are not very up to date.

I checked on http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/index.jsp but it only shows info about the ship, not anything else. Should I sign up and use BMW Owner's circle for info after it arrives in Canada? I don't want to contact my dealer anymore, since I called him so many times already.

I know how hard it is to wait. Most of us went through the same thing.
However - no matter what you do - it won't get here any faster.
If it is in Halifax now - you will likely have it in the next 2 weeks.
In the meantime - keep reading reviews and others excellent experiences. You will be posting the same experiences in only a matter of weeks.
BTW - keep pestering your dealer - they are used to it ;)

I don't think mine is .... not too much at least. He didn't even seem to know why I wanted the VIN. He said, "I know, you are eager to get your insurance fixed." I told him I wanted to track it, he said "I see," but didn't really get it. And It's not that he's not experienced. I know he was here for almost 5 years, and he was in MB before.
