I have a UGDO mounted in a ceiling panel (gray color). Install it as is, or use the UGDO and cut out the hole in your own panel. This Homelink device has three programmable buttons and is capable of opening doors with rolling code openers. The UGDO plugs into car power and the buttons are lit when the instrument lights are on. Never needs a battery. Purchased from the BMW parts window for over $179.

$140 shipped, included gray ceiling panel.

Was installed in an E46. Not sure if the same opener is used in other models.

I'd probably buy it for 100 shipped provided the panel fit the coupe...

If you want to check if the panel will fit the coupe, I'll condider your offer. Of course, if the panel doesn't fit, the UGDO itself should fit into the panel you do have if you trim out the hole. Let me know...

I didn't buy it... I socially engineered my way to the extender way back in 2001. :neener:

Good thing they did not ask you to verify that you owned one.

They did, but I said my car was in the shop, so I couldn't get the serial off the UGDO.

For the record, almost 4 years later, I have a garage door... and I can finally use the UGDO. :neener:

Haha! That's great! Glad to hear you have something to open now. By the way, great to hear from you again. (I was shocked to see a reply notification email to this thread...)
