Carputer / CarPC on X3?

Hello,

I wonder if anyone already manage to install a carputer on his X3 and manage to use the original display CID.

I'm looking for information about it, specially how the motorized monitor is controlled, and how I can make a custom install on my x3!

I saw one on the X5 forums. The guy used a OEM touchpad mouse of a laptop for the mouse, and use the NAV screen as the monitor. Cool thing, and nicely done.

but it is on an X3? I can't find it... can you link it if it is on an X3? It's importante because X3 and X5 have different monitor, the X3 one is motorized

Oh no. It was on an X5. I didn't know it wouldn't work. But couldn't the installer change around some settings to match the X3? I was unable to find it on the X5 Page, or else I would have linked it.

Come to think of it, it was in an X5 that I saw it also. Sorry for misleading you.
