2005 TCU (114). When a call comes in, caller ID appears on the Nav screen but not on the instrument cluser (where time/temp appear). I'm curious, because nav info appears on the cluster (distance to next turn) so it is logical that it might be used for caller ID info too. Thanks!

Thanks! That part of the display is programmable, but not in a useful manner. It can only display 4-digit numbers in increments of 50.

BTW, your profile says you have a 2002 330CiC. You put an Assist+Bluetooth TCU in there (instead of a ULF)? Did you have it coded and Assist activated?

Thanks for the responses - I figured that might be the case. Terry, thanks for the reminder to update my profile. I have a 2004 M3 convertible now (5/04 build) so the TCU was a straight swap and re-code.

BTW, I noticed the bluetooth call volume seems to be speed sensitive. Is that something that can be adjusted or turned off altogether. I can't stand it when the volume suddenly jumps.

Would be nice if there were some decent documentation on the 114 TCU.

This feature is only for 5 (probably on the X5 too) and 7 Series...
