The new Car & Driver says the US will get a 2 or 3 door 2 series in late 2006.

I'd love to have a 3 door. 2 door would be meh.

They claim it'll get introduced in September at Frankfurt (?).

I saw that too....a 2-series? Has anybody heard of a 2-series? Is there a thread on this anywhere? The photo looks suspiciously like a 1-series to me.

2 series is what they will call the 1 series coupe & convertible.

Not yet! I'm shopping for a ZHP, got tired of waiting for the 1 series. :confused:

that's too bad, i was looking forward to comparing 1 series stories with you, but i can hardly blame you especially since you can get a good deal right now on the e46s and life is short, on the other hand if they do end up bringing a 135 over you know that you'll be sucking my exhaust!!
