$39.50 (plus shipping) for a USED teenie weenie tiny disk drive :tsk: :banghead: :eeps:   :slap: :loco: :nono: :bang::throw::spank:  :lmao: :bustingup
You can get brand spanking new, bigger, drives for the same $$ at your local Fry's/CompUSA/BestBuy/CircuitCity/etc.

prove it and i will adjust the price ... your logic is stupid; thats like finding a used bmw for $20K and saying "why get that when i could have a new ford focus for $12K"
sure, you can get some off-brand korean hard drive for 40 new from fry's, but this a western digital with 8 mb of cache
find me a WD800JB hard drive for less than $40 ...

ps- next time try to help someone, not just post a bunch of opinions

find me a WD800JB hard drive for less than $40 ...How about a brand new one w/ warranty for $50 (here (http://www.compuplus.com/insidepage.php3?refer=cnet.com&id=550))? The same place has a Seagate 80GB for $46 (here (http://www.compuplus.com/insidepage.php3?refer=cnet.com&id=1001235)) and that has a 5-year warranty.

Since Terry already posted a rebuttle on the issue of brand/price, all I can say is.... Dude!, Take a chill pill. Most of what's on this site is opinions.

thank you for helping me Terry; I will adjust the price accordinglyNo problem. One of the issues with a site like this is that there's a wide variety of folks here. In this case, you've discovered that there are bunches of computer folks here.
BTW, when I buy drives, it looks like this:

That's a case of 20 400GB SATA Seagates. For info on what I do with 'em, click here (http://www.tmk.com/raidzilla).
