2001 325 XM/Sirius suggestions

Hello,

I'm a newbie in upgrading car audio. My car is 2001 325, with steering wheel contro and casettle player, but without CD changer or navigation system.

I would like to have either XM or Sirius installed, and here is my preference:

1)prefer to have a build in sound system, in other word, don't like the FM signal transmitted to my radio - sound quality is not good.

2)would like to have my steering wheel control to select the XM/Sirius channel

What do you recommend ? I check the Sirius and XM website, and can't find anything that fit into this old model (2001 bmw).

That issue was discussed in this thread (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75255&highlight=Sirius+HU). You basically need to change out your radio with a MY 2003 or better so that you can have seamless integration using the OEM Sirius unit or XM Direct.
