Like widescreen navi, angle eyes, etc.

What were some of the availbe options that are desirealbe also?

2001+ will have the upgrades that you seek.

2003 adds a DVD rather than a CD-based NAV (one DVD covers the entire US).

All US spec M5s were pretty much loaded, so the available options (split-folded rear seats, M-audio, park distance control, sun shades) are not that big of a deal for most.
