I recently bought 325i (1994).
I tried to start my car this moring, but the car does not start.
The key does not even move,so I am wondering if there was a extra
safety deature was on.
The Anti-Theft feature(the little red ramp)was on,but I didnt know what to do...
Your advice is greatly appriciated..Thanks in advance!!!

Have you tried rocking the steering wheel as you try to turn the key?

The previous reply I would go with. Your steering wheel is locked and just turn the steering wheel abit when you turn the Key. Hopefully this does it. If this does not work.
Check to make sure you have a GOOD BATTERY, by making sure you have a operating horn good strong lights. I have also heard that theres a 1. switch behind the " ignition switch " that might be it? 2. Also with your BMW being a 1994, I'm sure you have at least 200,000 miles on it. Maybe you have a DEAD spot on your Starter ? It might work again for the next 40 ignition starts....Let me know..Because I am curious too...Eddie in Tucson..with a 1995 BMW....
