How to open the hood?

Hi everybody!

I just finished to paint my 1993 325i and it looks great. The painter disassembled the hood before starting to paint and put all back together when finished. The problem is that now the hood does not open. It seems that something is preventing the catch to open because I pulled the hood cable with a plier and not worked.

I need detailed instructions in how to open the hood from the front of the car.

Please, I am beggin for help.

Your local fire dept has a great tool called a haligan bar...that'll do the trick.

sound like if hood is over adjusted get a friend to apply some wheight too hood when you pull lever to open .
