Your fuel milage figure please?

Hi everyone, just wondering what your fuel consumption is like....
please use either MPG or km/litre as unit
remember to mention what displacement is your engine too!

me: 8.25km/l or 19.3 mpg
2.5 litre, 30% highway, 70% city

With about 50% highway driving I get about 22-23 on average. I drive pretty hard when not in cruise control though.

On long trips I get around 27-28 mpg. Sometimes as high as 30 mpg. In town around 21 mpg.

In other words, same here, more or less.

'95 318i, 192k miles, 5spd.

On the highway with cruise @ 85mph in 5th, it averages about 28-29(!!), guesstimated from the trip meter always showing ~375mi just before I dump 12-13 gallons in.

I usually get like 25 to 27 running up the tpk at about 80 to 90 MPH

For my mostly highway commutes I get about 25 MPG.

I drive a vert which I suspect would have slightly lower MPG due to the aerodynamics.

11.6 km/l or 27 U.S. mpg since new with a 1.9L M44 engine. The numbers would be better were it not for the Autobahn. :rolleyes:

About 21-22 mpg around town. 28-30 mpg on the highway. I reset the second consumption guage on the OBC when I bought it, and haven't touched it since... as of last night, I've averaged 25.2 since then.

Believe it or not, but I seem to get the best hwy mileage with the top down! :thumbup:

When I was watching my mileage I was getting 8.8km/l city running (Christchurch NZ), and about 15km/l open road.

For the last month, watching my foot on the accelerator. 26 mpg, 70% city, 30% highway.

With 50/50 highway/city, I get 22.X MPG. On the highway alone, between 55 and 70 I get ~27.X MPG. Not bad for a 14 year old car with 182k.

I've had mine for only a couple of months and fill up once a month, the first month was 20 MPG and now that I've settled back down to earth 25 MPG.

I wish i could use more cruise but in La thats nearly impossible. I get around 23 mpg, but im 17 and only drive around town, when i actually go places i get up to 33mpg

With my 95 318i usually about 28 MPG, but on a long trip with cruise control set at 65 MPH as high as 32 MPG
