M3 purchse, is this ok.

This will be my 3rd bmw, but my first M3.

it is a 96,w/ 125K (mostly freeway), he just spend 4.5k on radiator, wp, hoses, etc, owner said it didn't overheat just the hose broke at his driveway, then towed to dealer for repairs. Also few weeks old Yoko AVS.


I've been reading up onthese cars and I think I know most issues. I know I wanted a stock un modified one then build it up to the way I want for autoX and DE.

do you guys think this is ok? he is asking for 11k.

Will these motor last upto 200k without major issues?

I have a 95 M3 that just turned over 200K and is still running stong. It has seen a LOT of track time and has not had any major problems. I have given it excelent maintenance which I believe has made the difference. And, my M is highly :drive: modified. Take care of it and it will last.
