I dropped my car off yesterday for an oil change and Inspection I. While I am not all that technical and can't remember what they said specifically, but explained that when they were checking my brakes they snapped off something - said it wasn't a big deal, just that now the car computer indicates the brakes should be checked. So they said they ordered the part and are waiting for it to arrive. Should I look more into what "part" they broke?
Fortunately they gave me a loaner but the jerks left it empty! I got about 5 miles down the road and the low fuel light came on. When they called to say I couldn't get my car back I asked what I should do, ie. bring them the receipt for gas in their car? I was pretty upset because the service guy gave me a long lecture on how it is a "privledge" to get a loaner in the first place. Was I dumb to ask?
The loaner is a 2002 325i, fun! I noticed however, my steering is much tighter with the awd, this doesn't have sp. But, this rear-wheeler is a bit faster!
By the way, JOHN HOLTZ is always terrible to me!!! :(
