Anyone know what the stock wheel offsets are for the M6?
I'm ordering some HRE wheels for my 645, but want to reuse them on an M6 later. So, I want to order them with the same width and offsets. I haven't been able to find the offsets.
Thanks, Gary

I can't comment on the offset, but I offer you $1200 for those M6 take-offs (provided that they are nor damaged ;) )
I know I am way early in the game... but I called it :D
cheers,

Heh, I doubt I'll actually get rid of the old ones. I usually keep the old ones around for reselling the car and would sell the HRE's separately after that.

I'm debating about doing some HRE 20's with the same offsets as the M6 wheels. Anyone done similarly?

From http://gs.tolan-hoechst.com/tirecalc.htm it shouldn't change things much, assuming that the M6 wheels have no fitment issues on a normal 645 (can't think why they would unless the rotor is thicker). Should give about a 1 MPH change in the speedometer at 80, and the tires are within 0.2" in diameter of each other (Michelin PS2) so hoping no DSC issues.
I'm debating about going with a little more offset and using a spacer incase additional brake clearance is ever needed.
Has anybody ordered M6 Wheels for a 645i or 650i. I wanted to compare the cost to the Hamann PG3's, which are about $6.5k delivered. Thanks

Check out this link on Roadfly, then scroll thru the responses. Sure to find what you need.

Thanks Tim Kay. That was a very helpful link. I received a quote from Wheelautohaus for Hamann PG3's at $5,525 shipped. I am going to see if my dealer can get them at wholesale and what the price (less any credit for the ellipsoid wheels) would be versus the cost of upgrading to the M6 wheels. I expect a difference in the $2k to $3k range. Then comes the hard part, deciding which will look better. It only took me a couple of months to settle on color choices.
