Can you re-wire buttons on the Nav/radio?

I have E46 w Nav and Sirius, and I find myself switching between FM and Sirius all the time. Switching to FM is easy - I just hit the FM button and I'm there, but going back to Sirius is a real pain (I have to scroll with the Mode button which skips a lot through all the entries, and I have 5 - radio, changer (MP3), cd, sirius and aux). If I could re-wire the AM button to actually switch to Sirius that would be perfect. I know it's a longshot, but do you guys think it's possible?

It would be possible IF there was provisison for a Sirius button - then t would simply be re-wiring.

What you want is to modify the code that runs the user interface of the radio, which I dont think has been hacked to that level...
