View Full Version : Quality Floor Mats?
Since I have decided to go with the cream interior, at least for today as my wife reminds me, I thought I should look into a beige or a light brown color floor mat. With my current black interior, it is easy to keep it clean, but I think that the lighter color will be much harder. There was a post a while back by cobradav showing monogrammed mats that looked great. Could you post where you purchased them? Thanks for the help.

Have cream beige myself. Car came with those velour light tan floormats. I didn't even dare using them for more then 4 days. After the first rain they would've been toasted once i would've stepped in :) Got the original rubber black (Available in tan also) mats for the 6er. They look quite nice because the dash is black as well so they go along fine. Maybe you should get some of those.
Thanks, I am so close to ordering, I am just trying to finalize my options. I am pretty sure that the mineral silver wtih cream interior and a black top will be it. I also love the Stratus Grey, but it is so close to the color of my 5, I just wanted a change. Wife still pushing for black, I just don't think it shows the best on this car.

Whatever you do don't go for black! It hides the beautifull lines of the 6er and makes it look like crap IMO. Plus, there's a **** load of black 6ers around so good bye uniqueness. Don't listen to her. Get either Mineral Silver or Stratus Grey. Both are gorgeous. Mineral silver looks better on a convertible and SG better on a coupe IMO.

Completely agree. I've seen black 6ers and they don't stand out at all. I don't even notice them at times, and that's because there's a ton of cars that are black of all make and model. The 6er has subtle lines and curves and they need to be accentuated with a good color. Black only hides them. When I see a non-black 6er, I think, "wow nice car.", when I see a Black 6er, I think, "Generic car numbered xyz. Wait a minute... is that a 6? Yes it is... it looks quite bland."
Buying a black 6er is like buying a black and white television, when there's a nice colored t.v. available.

Mineral Silver, gray top, light biege int.
I bought an extra set of the light tan floor mats that the car came with as back ups. I buy very similar colored sink towels at Wall Mart and throw them down to pick up the daily dirt off my feet. They are soft, cheap and 'quick and easy' to remove for 'special dates'.
