Not bad. Now they just need to flesh out the fascia a little more.
Thanks for pixs.

I was under the impressions that all M versions are built in Germany so where will the new Z4 M versions be built? Where did they build the previous Z3 M versions?

ALL Z cars have been built in Spartanburg. This one will be too.

the coupe styling just isn't working for, reminds me too much of a Datsun 240Z :dunno:

Yeah, but that M is. As soon as there's an official announcement from the factory, I'm talking to the dealer.

Nothing wrong with that is there?

Just like the Coupe reminds me of a Jag E-Type.

240Z's are georgeous... :)

he Jag is probably a better reference, I just don't dig the excessively long nose and stubby cabin in the rear, the bangle crimp looks much worse with it too, just my opinion though, I don't see one in my future, I'm sure they'll do the same old crap again, narrow front and wide rear wheels/tires, too much understeer, poopy customer service, excessive cost, blah, blah, blah

but I'm not bitter :p

Indeed. What a gorgeous looking car, IMO. :)

If you have Itunes or goto the BMWgroup world wide site, you can get a Podcast of BMW's rep (including Andrian Vanderhoyoonk (sp?) & Bangle) talk about the design of the Z4Coupe.

I was dissapointed that they didn't pay homage to the MCoupe.... :tsk:

Albrecht Goertz supposedly designed the 240. Same guy that did the BMW 507. Which is the car that inspired the Z8. And that inspired the Z3, which leads to the Z4 and Z4coupe.

Make sense? :D

The Z4 coupe looks to be an OK-looking car (IMO). It looks like many other coupes.
I'm sure that when it is finished and fine-tuned it will still be an OK-looking car.
The MZ4 coupe will be a fast and refined OK-looking car.

The Z3 and MZ3 coupe is an outstanding-looking car that looks "a lot like nothing else." (IMO).
That's the difference.

Uhh, didn't the Z3 predate the Z8 by several years? :dunno:

Actually I think he should have stated that it inspired the Z8 & Z3.
If you recalled the Z3 brochures had snippets of the 507.
