ok..here's another question.

any previous BMW models with gull wing doors? doubt any previous F1 models had gull wing doors. :)

I'll bet someone's done it to their e36 or e46. If you combine a large lack of taste and a lot of money, anything is possible.

good one..but it's a McLaren. almost had me fooled. any of ur scale models there have gull wing doors? :)

McLaren F1 IS a BMW. It's at least as much BMW as the Williams/BMW F1 car.

OK, I wasn't sure. If the M1 didn't have them, I can't think of any regular production BMW with gullwings. I have seen a few custom jobs, and they look anywhere from good to awful depending on the quality of the work.

Anybody have a pic of that BMW/McLaren F1 GTR that ran in the '96 LeMans - it was done in white with blue and red graphics and the sponsor was FINA?
