I have both but am saving my carpeted ones for later. :D

I like carpet - much classier in my opinion.

Carpet summer, rubber winter for the 540. Mine, I hardly ever step in snow, so carpet year round. Home garage to work garage and back pretty much all winter.

That was my original plan, but somehow the rubber ones never made it out. :dunno:

Ok, I'm getting tired. I've clicked 'edit' on other people's posts three times now instead of hitting 'quote'. I also go from home garage to work garage to gym garage to home garage, so I usually stay fairly sheltered from the elements.

You'll get them. :D The car is packed. Only things left to put in it are me and the cameras.

Hey Chris, did you get rid of the wind noise with your new mic?

Yup, I've got it down inside the steering column. Got the wire taped up along the center console. I'll tape the rest up once I put the camera on. I'm psyched..!

I found that my carpet mat wore very quickly at my left heel. Is this indicative of poor shift(clutch) technique? I feel like I drive the car well, but this is the first stick I've owned, so for all I know I may be doing something bass-ackwards. Any help appreciated.
