Anyone here from Downers Grove, IL or close to it?

I live out in California/SF/Bay Area and am looking at a car at a Bentley dealership (no not a Bentley, that would be the day) in Downers Grove, here's the site:http://bentleydownersgrove.com/

I'm not that close or I'd be happy to check it out for you. Be aware that the "Bentley" dealership in Downers Grove is actually Luxury Motors. They do not have a good reputation, but it may be due to the sheer volume of used cars they sell. I was there once and they have literally hundreds of German cars on the lot...BMW, Porsche, MB, Audi.

Most of the complaints have to do with failing to provide title, slow payoff of tradein loans, and selling cars with a deposit on them to somebody else. These are cases where they have lawsuits pending. There are also rumors of reselling wrecked/frame damaged cars that the dealers send to auction instead of CPO'ing, but you'd think that if somebody could document this they'd have a lawsuit going instead of Internet rumors.

There is a BMW dealership right down the street, Laurel Motors. Maybe you could work out a purchase inspection with them.

Earlier this year, Luxury Motors was slapped with 50 indictments for deceptive sales practices by the Illinois States Attourney. I would suggest going elsewhere. FYI, Naperville Motors is owned by Luxury Motors former General Manager, be carefull. I have great luck with Tom Adamski and Bill Earnest at Bill Jacobs BMW in Naperville.

From posts and emails I've been getting, it could be a blessing in disguise that this didn't go thru. :dunno:

This was for a Benz for my wife, not a BMW. :tsk:

Yes, Stay away from Luxury Motors. They are crooks.
