19" or 20" WHEELS FOR 2005 545I

I would like to purchase either 19" or 20" wheels for my 2005 545I. Would I better off for ride and comfort going to a 19" wheel over a 20" wheel or does it really make a difference ?? What is considered a few of the best wheels for my vehicle? What tires would be best suited for my 545I w/o the sports package?

Both will be firm, but the 19" setup will ride a bit better than 20".

'Best wheels' is largely a cosmetic decision based on personal preference, especially since you're choosing such a large diameter I assume that much of this move is being done for cosmetics. I put 20" on my 325i and it rides just as good as the 17" stock. Everyone told me I was crazy to do it 'cause it was gonna ride horribly and whatever - but it rides perfect. I can't even tell the difference, honestly. And you got a 5 series so you should just go with a 20" without even thinking about it.
