The show is Toronto was a lot of fun. Over 280 cars showed up and there were quite a few cars that were show stoppers. Webguy330i (Chris) and his girlfriend Tara made it up from Rochester to hang out and party all weekend. We also hung out with Rost12 (Rost) and ChrisTO Friday night and all day Saturday. I had a great time hanging out with these guys and I appreciate the fact that they came out to support me. Chris and Tara hung out with me at the show the whole weekend (18 hours in two days). Thanks guys!!

Supprisingly enough, since it was so amazing outside and it was labor day weekend, the show didn't attract tons of people. It might have had to do with $5 for parking and $20 to enter the show that turned people off. Since this was the first annual show, next year should hopefully be better in terms of people.

The show went really well. I took home two first place trophies. One was for Best I.C.E. - European and the other was for Best E46. These trophies are huge! They are about 3 feet tall and I had a fun time driving home with them in my front seat.

Also worth mentioning is that the Editor from Performance BMW was there with his photographer. When I arrived on Friday, they were hoping to take some pictures of BMW's for their magazine and the head of the show was telling them about my car. Once I pulled in they asked if they could do a photo shoot of my car for their magazine. I didn't say no, so we took my car outside and we were out there a good hour or so. I asked the editor if this meant I was actually going to be in the magazine and he said "we wouldn't jerk you around like that, you're in the magazine". They said it will be at least six months before they publish these pictures, so I"ll let you guys know when it comes out.

Now, onto the pictures. I took over 100 pictures of cars, models, models on cars, etc. I put them on

webshots. (http://community.webshots.com/user/ack46)

Thanks Doug! :D The Clarion Eclipse was in the Import Class. That car would've spanked me something fierce! It was an amazing install. That car is the perfect example of what can be done with sponsorship. There really isn't any competing with something of that caliber. That car had well over 75K in mods done. :yikes:

If you guys went to the brass rail (one of my fav hang-out joints in t.o., i hope you went across the street to eat at the green mango!).

congrats on the wins, ack. did you just win the hardware, or does some cheddar go along with the prizes?

as for those models, there are some serious skanks (don't believe i've used that term since high school) in some of those pix.

hts - it is not like we had any money left after the brass rail place...

Chris - kick him once again, just for me :D lol.
About pics...there was actually a group of chicks inside, one of them was getting married, so they decided to have fun...While two of them were getting a lap dance one chick decided to take some pics....she got in trouble for that, and had to hide out behind my back :D The place was nice, though. Girls were hot too :)

Thanks! No $$, just trophies. I was surprised b/c they billed it as 50K in cash and prizes, not just prizes. Not that big of a deal b/c I made some nice contacts at the show and you never know what might come of it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Some of the girls were bleh! I liked the asian girl that was sitting on the left of the BMW. Stacy Linn is very hot also, except she is a little too thin (and she also just turned 19).

Chris - too bad you couldn't have come out to the Upper Brass. We had a great time. Like Rost said, I don't think any of us came out of there with any $$ left. Super good looking girls there!

Rost, I get you that info tomorrow. Next time we're up in TO, weill have to hit some clubs and the Brass Rail. Sorry we didn't get a chance to go out on Sunday night, the award ceremony didn't end until 8 and we were all beat. We just went to Subways for some food and then sped home. We'll make it up to you!

rost, it was awesome meeting you! We had a kickass time in the 7'er, very cool. And of course I'm sure you'll be at the rail 3-5x a week now right? Remember the hungarian blonde!! :D :D

Pete, we had a great time as usual and will def. be down for some weekend partying in B-lo between now and December. Make sure you figure out how yer gonna get your wheels up there. I'm sure everyone will have a plan. If it needs be, we could probably transport them up with a uhaul truck (a pickup) or maybe even Tara's dad's jeep or something.

Anyhow, again, good times for all, and if I get a chance I'll try to post some photos sometime too.

That car was one of my favorite BMW's also. The kit is a nice add-on for our car. Unfortunately, I don't have any rear shots. :banghead:
