I am ready to lease a 5 series. Really like the 545i but I think my payments say 530i. Just wondering if I could get lower payment by leasing a CPO.
Anyone have experience with this? Is there special programs? Can you save?
Looking for low to mid $600 lease payments.(36mos -12k) Am I in the ballpark?
Thanks In Advance

Short answer is yes it can be done. I did it with a 2003 530i.
Now there are many who proclaim do not lease a used car for the reason that the residual is much lower and the money factors tend to be higher. There is some truth to that, unlike the residual on a new car lease which is basically a % of the msrp the residual on a used car is a fixed amount set by BMWFS.
The money factors tend to be higher on used cars except at times there are special rates on cars that are 3+ years old.
You need to get your dealer to tell you what the residual would be and what kind of money factor he can offer. There is a bias towards leasing new cars but a CPO car can also make an attractive lease on occassion.
Good luck.
