Help Needed

Hi there, have a 1998 E39 M5, with 92Km on the clock.
Any advise please, as i have noticed huge oil shortages regularly, along with white smoke from exhaust pipes. This occurs when brakes are applied giving a metal grinding feel to the braking. This also stalls the vehicle.
Any advise and help need.......thanx

White smoke usually means water is getting somewhere it shouldnt be, my 850 had it and I had to replace the right side cylinder block, the head was cracked, hope this is not the fault, very expensive, my fingers are crossed for you.
