Looks like the only way to get full leather on a 2.5i is to order Premium package. Premium package is asscracker. Without premium, you are stuck with either half cloth/half leather or vinylette.

One small victory is that all seats are now sport seats. "Base" sport seats have manual adjustment. Power is optional. Nice way to avoid some weight.

Do you know that for sure?

I know the M3 ordering guide also makes it look like you can't order leather a la carte, but you can.

Base seats manual? Less seat rail bushings for whamac to make. I wonder if the electric seats will have the same seat rail setup? :dunno:

How much are they asking for the premium package? I hear the base price is already a little steep.

No prices available yet.

I will say this though. A lot of stuff that is standard on the Z3s is now optional. Stuff like storage net, power seats, heated mirrors, heated nozzles, etc. If the Z4 base price is about the same as the Z3 base price, the difference will be made up in the options. There appear to be a lot more options on the Z4 than the Z3 ever got.

Dunno for sure. Just going by the brochure. I would assume with only 4 colors and a new model, BMW will use its "holier than thou" attitude and be snotty with options on the first cars (like ours).

I would go for black cloth/leather if they had it... but the only choices are white bread gray or maldives.
