NAV system screen

for a few weeks now, the navigation system screen has not been opening up automatically, or it partially opens/closes, requiring me to manually operate it.

has anyone else had a similar problem and if so, what did the dealer have to do to fix it?

Same issue here. The problem couldn't be reproduced at the dealer (imagine that :rolleyes: ) so nothing was done. It doesn't happen very often but I'll be interested in what else you find out.

My NAV screen occcasionally does the same thing. It acts correctly after a bit of playing with the open / close switches, turning the ignition key off and on, or if it is being really uncooporative, some gentle nudges.

Told my dealer about it when in for an interim (7K mi) oil change. I don't know if the dealer actually saw the problem, but he ordered some replacement parts.

He also ordered a new steering wheel radio volume contol button to address another issue. On occasion, the volume down button would have no effect on the volume, but if held, would cause the radio station to change upward. I've got an appointment next week to get the parts replaced.
