I have a '93 325i auto that will not shift between gears until rpms reach 4000 or better when it is cold(by cold I mean sitting for extended period of time). Once the car is warmed up it shifts at a much lower rpm, but still seems like car runs at high rpm(3600 at 55mph). If I gas it from a stop it seems like trans is slipping and I have slow acceleration. I can't even turn the tires over. Bad trans, bad coverter, or something electrical? Any suggestions?
