Thonking about getting a 745i but roadfly and other boards sound like almost no one is getting a 745i without all kinds of problems. Most of which BMW seems to not know how to fix.
Anybody had a 745 without problems?

I'm just wondering if there is a positive report out there from a current owner.

I actually got to see the new 7 series up close and I can honestly say that if you get rid of the joystick in the middle console it's a pretty damn good looking car. Well maybe the hump on the trunk is a little over board as well :D

Like I stated in the previous thread, my father is pretty much enjoying his 745i.
I enjoy it too, when I get my hands on it.

i just purchased a 2002 745 LI and it is running great. I brought it two months ago and it is running great. When i am on the highway doing about 100 i cant even tell. I was driving with my wife and started laughing. She said what is so funny i said damn i did not realize i was doing 100. Just take care of the car and you should be fine. Also there is no difference between the 02- 03 or I should say no really big changes.

I have had relatively few problems with my 7. Just typical german car stuff, the biggest repairs have been interior fan motor and driver door window regulator. Now that I've posted this the car will probably blow up on the way home...

Had a ML55 before this and it was the biggest piece of crap I ever owned.
