WTB E46 M3 6 speed transmission or 330i 6 speed.

Contemplating converting to a 6 speed, and wondering if anyone here has one they'd like to sell, or knows someone who is.

I am aware of Zionsville's 6 speed kit, and at near $5K, it's a possibility I'd consider. I know UUC has a parts list of what's necessary to convert a US E36 to a 6 speed also, and I'd like to investigate that avenue to see if it could be done for a comparable or cheaper overall cost.

Just curious...do you know if the M3 Getrag 6-speed will work on the E36 motor? I think the 330i 6-speed is a ZF, might be closer to the euro S52 engine fitment...but maybe they all work together.

yes, the transmissions will swap over fine. The 5 speed ZF on the E36 M's was also used in the M Coupe and M Roadster, both of which were offered with the S54.
