Basslink install kit on eBay

I am going to purchase the Inifinity Basslink as a moderate upgrade to my stock system. I have no electrical experience, but wanted to avoid being hung out to dry by an expensive install shop. Or has anyone had the Basslink installed by a shop for a modest cost or done it themselves and can convince me that I won't fry my brain installing it?

I'm not sure what kind of inputs it takes but i installed a sub + amp in my E46 and it was pretty easy. I spent a lot of time on it and i was a serious noob at car audio before but it was an easy DIY.

I can't imagine the basslink install being any harder, probably a very similar install.
