Heads Up Display [Archive] - bimmerfest

Hey folks, does anyone else have a problem with the heads up display? I am about 5' 9" and I can never see the bottom part of the HUD without stretching my neck, does anyone know if there is any way to adjust the reflections height?

I'm 5'9" also, and do not have a problem viewing any of the HUD displays in my M5. You may want to have your dealership check it.

Adjust your seat height.

Scary thought having dealer adjust HUD. :eek:

But yes, they can be adjusted, but more than likely, the tech never did it before.

.................and remember if you wear polarized sunglasses, the HUD is all but invisible no matter how much you turn the brightness up. Its the one thing that really irritates me about the car as I cannot use my Maui Jim's if I want to use the HUD.

Reefminis... I know what you mean I have Oakleys... If you tilt your head to the left or right you'll be able to see it. :)
