For anyone who has a E36 with halo projectors...on the manual it says one of the wires had to go to the position lamp. where is that?... Im assuming it has to do with the corner lights????(so that the halos come on when only the corners and fogs do but not the headlights)...Anyone able to give me some info....the directions for these are $hit

Hey man, I just installed projector+halo lights on my car last week (also from ebay). The wire you need to tap into is the left wire if you look at the connector for the turn signals from the back (i.e. look at it facing the wire side, not from the bulb side)... you'll notice that if you orient it correctly, there are 2 wires on the top and 1 in the middle on the bottom. The left one on the top is the positive wire for the "marker" bulb that comes on when you turn on the headlight switch to the first position. Actually on my car i just cut that wire cuz I don't want those side markers on when my halos are on :)
That's the positive wire for the marker signal. For the negative, you can attatch to any bare metal part of the body of the car... or if you don't wanna do that, you can tap into that "bottom" wire on the turn signal.
