I have a 93 325is can I replace the rear shock mounts from under the car or do I need to strip out the trunk. I have a stereo system in the back and really don't want to have to take it out. Can you give me alittle bit about how to change them.

I changed mine just yesterday. :)
And yes you have to lift up the fabric in the trunk to access the mount.

For any of the "regular style" RSMs you have to strip the trunk to get to the mounting bolts. You can get the Rogue Engineering RSMs which are made to be mounted "upside down", after which you can do it all from under the car without having to do anything inside the trunk again.
