View Full Version : Using voice commands for the phone book?

I just got a new Razr V3c from Verizon, and so far it appears to work (knock on wood). Now the question - the phone book transferred to the car from the phone the first time they paired up, and I can manually make calls to phone book numbers. However, when using voice commands, it tells me my phone book is empty? Has anyone had this problem and found a solution?

There are 2 completely separate phonebooks. A fully compatible phone will dump the address book into the BT memory. There you can scroll through the entries and then select the number you want to call. The voice command directory need to have your verbal input to have entries. So when you say "Call Bob" it will respond back "Bob" in your own voice. For further info refer to your BT owner's manual.
