Any tricks on arming alarm system??

After taking my M3 to the local dealer to have some items (key memory, etc) programmed, I just noticed that when I lock the vehicle, the alarm system does not arm. -- Light on bottom of mirror does not blink, motion sensor not working, "panic alarm" not working, etc.

I am not sure it is related to the reprogramming, but it did work before.

Is it possible that I unknowingly did something to disarm it?? [according to manual it seems like it should be working if I just lock the car with the remote or the driver's door lock]

It is a 2006 M3 Convertible.

Anyone have knowledge on this??

I lack direct knowledge, but tru locking twice in quick suvccession to see if that starts the blinking, and wait 30 seconds to see if that starts the blinking.
