I got my 650i a little over 2 months ago and it has been a great car except for the iDrive. On the 6er forum I've been ragging BMW for its poor iDrive software and the poor job done by my VPC. But yesterday, BMW gave me a Christmas present in the form of a glorious new black M5.
I was driving north (west) on the 101 towards Las Virgenes Canyon at about 70 when I saw the familiar kidney grilles approaching me from behind at great speed. Sadly, my exit was coming up, but the M5 caught up with me and began to pass me. I saw it had manufacturer plates and I decided to take a look. So I moved over a lane to my left, caught up and gave the driver and the woman he was with a :thumbup: . He responded by STEPPING ON IT! And he disappeared out of sghit. I then trundled back into the right lane, moved over a couple more at my offramp and exited.
What a glorious sight! Thanks, BMW. If you solve the oil consumption problem I'm in for a 6, an M6.
