car battery location

help i have been trying to find the location of the car battery in 530i bmw. i have read that its located in the rear seat but how do i remove the rear seat when it does not fold. please respond asap:cry:

It is correct that your battery is UNDER your backseat.

Just remove the seating of the backseat.
You have to pull the seating up.

There are 2 metal clips, one on the right and one on the left of the bottom of the bench seat. Pry with a flat head screw driver at these points and the seat will break free. Then pull bench forward. :thumbup:

THAT is not nesseccary!! That way you could damage your seating!!

Just pull the seating at the front up! A little hard and you geel when it's loose!

NEVER use a screwdriver!! You only damage your seating!!

If you looking for your battery to jump start another car....I wouldn't recommend it. You could possibly fry your electronics doing so.
