Anyone Got a DIY Link with pictures for the official BMW/Alpine 6-CD Trunk Mounted Changer w/o NAV for the late model E46s with fold-down rear seats?
This popular DIY link has the pictures missing:

I have done this; the DIY does not show much about getting the old liner out (hardest part of the whole job).
The instructions with the kit have you removing the top plastic trim under the parcel shelf, this is NOT necessary. I found that by CAREFULLY pushing on the end of the trim and a little wiggling of the cover it came right out.
You do have to remove the left side bolster to get at that last cover rivet, to do this pull firmly & steadily along the top 1/3 of the bolster. Once the clip releases pull up & out.

I don't agree about needing to remove that last rivet. You can hold the liner out of the way. Furthermore, if you happen to have a coupe, to get that last rivet you need to remove the cap above the bolster, which you can't remove unless you remove the arm that opens/closes the window. Ugh. I had to do all that when I had to run wires from the trunk to the cabin.
